What was your motivation to enter the 12 Week “Little Black Dress” Challenge?
I felt chubby and unfit so I wanted to improve my fitness level to help with all of the sport I play and to tone up and lose weight.
How were your goals for the challenge?
My goal were to reduce my weight to approx 60kgs, to tine up and feel fit and happy. I wanted to improve my fitness (more cardio) to help me not fatigue as quick while playing hockey. I also wanted to get fitter for the state titles.
How did you go with your goals? What achievements did you make? What benefits do you feel?
I’m feeling great!! I’m really happy with my results and got down to the 60kgs I aimed for. My running has improved heaps and I can get through a hockey game easy.
What did you do to achieve your results?
I went to Mackay Bootcamp for Women five days per week when I could, plus played three games of hockey during the week + training, and two games of indoor soccer.
I cut out a lot of bread, I stopped drinking coke, I learnt to love tuna, I drink a lot more water now than I used to and cut down on sugar.
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made?
My life has changed and for the better. I enjoy going to Bootcamp and can’t wait to get there! I plan on sticking to my fitness and setting new goals to achieve. I have made lots of new friends which makes it more enjoyable. I know I will stick to it now as I feel so much better and healthier. Making healthier food choices is so much easier now!
