It’s not a hard one… you just have to get started. Stop putting it off, stop waiting for conditions to be perfect. They will never be.
There’s never going to be a ‘good’ time, when everything is in order in your life, when the kids are at school, when the house has been renovated, when the dishes have been done, when the sock drawer is cleaned out… when *whatever task in the form of an ‘excuse’ you keep telling yourself has been done*.
Time is passing right NOW. Right now as you read this… as you watch TV, as you waste time on Social media. It’s all these small moments that are making up your LIFE. Moments you are never, ever going to get back again.
Why wait any longer to be living the healthiest, fittest and most energetic life you can? Why don’t you deserve that? You can do it, you just have to start!
I’ve been in the fitness industry for over ten years now and have heard a thousand excuses as to why someone can’t start or it’s ‘not the right time’.
What on earth are you waiting for??
Till you are on the operating table having a double by-pass? Till your doctor says you are diabetic? Till you have put on an additional 20kgs? What is going to make you do this NOW?
These may be extreme examples, but they are also real-life as I have had clients come to me AFTER that has happened. They all say the same thing… “if only I prevented it from happening in the first place”. They will never take their health for granted again.
Make sure you PREVENT this from happening to you at all. Don’t wait until you are on death’s door till you do something about your health. You may not be one of the lucky ones who get a second chance.
There is no ‘perfect’ time to get started, just start TODAY. Start with something small, 30 minutes of exercise. There is absolutely NO excuse that you can’t get started.
The big “secret” is to stop making the
excuses and just do it, before you
