Kami has been part of Red E’s “Intro To Strength Training” program since the beginning of August 2016. In this short time she has made phenomenal progress in everything she has done.
Kami’s main focus when she started was weight loss and she achieved amazing results in her measurements over the first twelve weeks, due to her consistency and also a good, nutritious diet.
Her results from August to now (March) are phenomenal! Kami has dropped 22.5kgs, 12% body fat and a huge 86.5 centimetres from six measured areas of her body!! (including 25.5cm from her hips alone!!!)
Her focus for her training has now switched to strength and lifting heavy, which has seen outstanding progress in such a short time period!
This amazing transformation has stemmed from Kami’s undeniable focus and determination to work past her point of being uncomfortable and continue to push through even the toughest of challenges. Kami has been left surprised on many occasions at exactly how much she was capable of when she ignored her limitations and put in the work. An absolutely amazing transformation and inspiration to everyone around her!

What was your motivation to start training with us here at Red E?
I had already lost quite a bit of weight and I was wanting to start to tone and build my muscles. I saw the advertising for the ‘Intro to Strength’ Program and I thought that would be a great way for me to start.
What were your goals?
My main aim was to just tone and build muscle but I have done so much more.
How have you gone with your goals? What achievements have you made?
I have definitely surprised myself with what I am now able to do since starting at Red E. I can now do push ups on my toes, twelve months ago that would never have happened. I can also jog which I never thought was possible. I think I am still improving with everything that I do.
What benefits do you feel?
I feel fit and healthy. I don’t ever remember feeling like this ever in my life.
What did you do to achieve your results?
Train three days a week and I try and keep my eating as healthy as I can.
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made?
The main one is to get off my bum and actually move. I work in an office so this can be hard but I try and get up whenever I can. I also make sure I don’t overeat and and stop when I am full.
Fave “clean” food: Steak and vegies
Fave ‘not so clean’ food: Popcorn from the movies!!
Fave exercise: Leg press
Most “Dreaded” exercise: Squat pulses

Advice for others starting out…
At the beginning it may feel like you can’t but keep at it and you will prove to yourself that you can.
