Lesley MacAlpine joined our “Fit Mums“ Training program in April 2019 and since day one has been an absolute machine in her training.
Lesley has done an outstanding job of balancing her own health and fitness needs while also taking care of a young family.
The effort Lesley puts into everything she does is reflected perfectly by the amazing results she has achieved since April to December, dropping a total of 54cm, 6% Body Fat and 9.9kg!!
Lesley has done an outstanding job of improving her strength and getting back to her fittest level even after having children. Lesley has been a perfect example of how hard work and consistency pays off in the long run.
Congratulations on your sensational results Lesley and your December 2019 “Client of the Month” Award!!

When did you start training and what was your motivation to start training with us here at Red E?
April 2019 in the “Fit Mums” Training sessions!
What were your goals?
Lose weight, tone up, gain energy, have some “me’ time doing something I love, keep mentally happy/positive – as I was a new mum for a second time I knew how easy it was for postnatal depression to creep in, and mostly to see how fit and strong I could get again after not being able to play Womens AFL anymore after having kids (conflicting schedules etc).
What have you achieved? What benefits are you experiencing?
I’m 10kgs down to date, purely from Fit Mums and Saturday Smack-Down sessions. I can’t diet. I haven’t been this light since I got married in 2015. I have strength beyond what I thought I could have gained both mentally and physically. My endurance is great now, I can actually run considerable distances without stopping now. My energy has improved, and life just feels ‘easy’ at present, I’m enjoying every moment. As a bonus I’ve met some great like-minded people and new friends!
What did you do to achieve your results?
Two Fit Mums sessions per week and one session in the studio on Saturday mornings. Remained committed and determined to meeting my goals.
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made?
It’s now a part of my weekly schedule to exercise. Not much else. I haven’t really changed anything I’ve just added something on top of my usual lifestyle.
Fave healthy food: Fruit
Fave treat food: Salt and Vinegar Chips
Fave exercise: Running
Least fave exercise: Lunges.

Advice for others starting out…It’s worth the money! It’s a tiny part out of your day so put in the effort while you are there. Push yourself a little more each session.
