What was your motivation to start training with us here at Red E?
Tania thought it would be a great idea for me to improve my fitness primarily for motocross. I used to be right into it, but then got a bit older and couldn’t do it for long and was paying the price with crashes and injuries. Playing squash was also getting tougher to cope with, and I hate losing.
What were your goals?
Lose weight, tone up and get fitter.
How have you gone with your goals? What achievements have you made? What benefits do you feel?
I have lost 4kg, can run 8k’s, up from 1.5k’s, and can lift much heavier weights – 100kg bench, and just feel better generally about myself and have higher energy levels.
What did you do to achieve your results?
Try to focus on doing something most days of the week, with a rest day on Sunday. Also, got into running once a week, extending the distance each couple of weeks.
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made?
Generally try to be more active, cut out sugar whenever I can and do cardio (either running, studio cardio sessions, bootcamp).
