Mel has been training at Red E in our Bootcamp for Women program since February, 2016. In this time Mel has completed a number of goals. This year Mel completed her first 5km run and she did it exceptional!! Her energy and team spirit is to be admired at bootcamp, she is always encouraging and uplifting her workout friends to do their best. Mel is determined and drives to work hard every session, and complete every challenge thrown at her, even if she has a bit of cheek back to the trainer. 😉 Well done Mel on your consistency and repeatedly fantastic results, you are very deserving of our August Client of the Month award!!
What was your motivation to start training with us here at Red E?
I was previously going to a gym previously, but I had lost motivation. So I joined Red E, as I knew bootcamp would push me outside my comfort zone (and it did!)
What were your goals?
To get fitness and strength and of course to lose weight.
How have you gone with your goals? What achievements have you made?
Yes! I have gained fitness and strength and I have lost lots of cms all over my body.
What benefits do you feel?
I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been and my clothes fit much better now.
What did you do to achieve your results?
I started out doing three bootcamps a week, I loved it so then increased to four – five bootcamps per week!
In the early to mid part of 2017, I even started running twice a week to get ready for the Mackay Marina Run! (Mel successfully completed her first 5km run – well done Mel!!!)
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made?
Making exercise a priority.
Cutting out processed food and sugar and cooking more food from stratch.
Fave healthy food: Almond milk smoothies and raw nut slices
Fave treat food: Cheesecake
Fave exercise: Boxing!
Most “Dreaded” exercise: Burpees and Squat and Press!

Give it a go, you won’t regret it! Also the people are fantastic!
