Measure out 1/2 cup oats, pour over just enough almond milk (or water) to cover the oats.
Pop on the stove and boil then reduce to simmer until the oats have absorbed the liquid and are ‘mushy’. If you are short on time, microwave for 1min 30sec – 2mins.
Add Berries / Banana / Honey / Dates / Nuts & Seeds / Yoghurt……..
So many options. Have your toppings chopped and ready to go in the fridge.
If hot porridge isn’t your thing, prepare oats and milk the night before and leave in the fridge to soak, add some fresh fruit to serve in the morning.
