The strength and determination Matt has shown to reach goals is amazing. This has been achieved through his efforts in totally changing his eating supplement his training goals, adding some cardio based exercises to his weights sessions. He has continued to increase weights in compound moves and become stronger in doing so. His efforts have earned him our May “Client of the Month” Award! What was your motivation to start training with us here at Red E?
It started off at losing with losing a couple of kilos but it quickly changed in learning advanced exercise moves such as Barbell squats, Bench Press and deadlifts.
What were your goals?
To get under 85kg but that changed to deceasing my Body Fat % and to increase my muscle mass. My current goals are to continue decreasing my Body Fat and increase my muscle. My performance goals were to increase my Barbell squats, bench press and deadlifts, with these performance goals I have been able to increase my weights and become stronger.
How have you gone with your goals? What achievements have you made? What benefits do you feel?
I have reached my performance goals and I continue to put them up but my main goal is to still lose Body Fat and increase muscle. I am well on the way to achieving these goals with how I eat and how I train. The achievements I have made are that I now eat healthier, lift heavier and feel stronger. The benefits are I feel stronger and fitter than I have ever felt before.
Fave ‘clean’ food: A piece of juicy steak!
Fave ‘not so clean’ food: Chocolate, definitely chocolate!
Fave exercise: Barbell Squats
Most ‘Dreaded’ exercise: Lunges, pushups, pull-ups… There’s a few of them! 😉
