Lisa Conway started with Red E in January 2017 in our Bootcamp for Women Kick-Start Program! From then, she was addicted to the regular exercise in the outdoors and committed to another year membership and has been with us ever since!
Lisa consistently works hard and pushes herself in every session at Bootcamp and her results are proof of her commitment and dedication.
Lisa has lost over 10 kilos and dropped over 45cm in measurements!! When she first started Lisa didn’t like running at all and now she is running over 1km without stopping or walking which she was unable to do when she started.
Most recently Lisa participated in our 8 Week ‘Little Black Dress’ Project with further amazing results!!

Here’s a bit more about Lisa…
What was your motivation to start training with us here at Red E?
I was keen to get fit and healthy due to my weight gain. I had no energy, I wasn’t sleeping well and I had constant lower back soreness.
I had seen ladies doing the bootcamp at the blue water quay and wondered if I could train in the heat. I put it off for months and finally in January 2017, I made the commitment to join the 12 Week Kick-Start program.
What were your goals?
To attend bootcamp at least four times a week. To lose weight but the big goal is to lower my body fat %.
How have you gone with your goals? What have you achieved?
I am committing to four Bootcamps sessions a week.
I have lost 8 kilos and my body fat % is down by 6%. I’ve dropped a full dress size. (stats as at December 2017). Lisa’s latest check-in showed total of 10.7kg weight loss and 45cm in measurements!!
What benefits are you experiencing?
I now love to exercise. I have so much more energy. I look forward to doing bootcamp. Lifting heavier weights and at least running now. My sleep has improved and overall I don’t feel as stressed.
What did you do to achieve your results?
Improved my diet. Definitely lowered the carb intake. Increased my water intake. My diet is still a work in progress but looking forward to the next 12 months and dropping two more dress sizes.
I’ve worked a lot on positive thinking rather than telling myself I can’t.
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made?
I more conscious on what I eat. I still treat myself but work harder at exercise when I’ve splurged.
I love to exercise and have Red E to thank. I used to procrastinate and make up excuses why not to exercise, now I regret it when I can’t attend bootcamp.

Advice for others starting out…
Give it a go! You’ll surprise yourself how soon it becomes habit. You get so much support from the trainers and make great friendships.
