Juanita started training with us December 2016. She had lost a lot of weight on her own since May 2016 – 27kgs in total, which is a phenomenal achievement! She knew she needed to change her life for the better and needed some help now with the exercise to shape and tone her fat loss.
Juanita set herself a goal when she started at Red E to further reduce her weight to 75kg.
She began at 85.7kg on the 5th December 2016 and had reached that goal by May 2017!!
Juanita has continued to set and reach new goals and not only does she train with us here twice a week doing a PT Session but she has turned her whole lifestyle around by making movement part of her every day life. She likes to either ride her bike, swim laps at the pool or even just recently she has started running too!!
Juanita has lost 40kg in total in her weightloss journey and since starting with Red E she has lost whopping 77cm from her body!!!
Not only has Juanita kicked her weightloss goals, she has also gained strength and stamina in everything she does. Juanita can now do push ups on her toes, something she had only every dreamed of doing.

What was your motivation to start training with us here at Red E?
I had lost a fair bit of weight and needed to tone up and had around 8 more stubborn kgs to lose. Melissa is a long time friend of mine and I came to her for training.
What were your goals? To tone up and get healthy and weigh under 75kg.
How have you gone with your goals? What have you achieved?
I have definitely exceeded my goals. I now weigh 70kg and have lost a total of 40kg altogether. I am heaps stronger and fitter thanks to my personal training and have completed several long distance bike rides and am back water skiing and swimming again. I aim to do my first Triathlon in Feb 2018!!
What benefits are you experiencing?
I am loving being able to walk into any shop and try on size 10 and 12 clothes and look good in them. I have heaps of energy and cope a lot better with my busy schedule ( I work three jobs). I’m sleeping and moving a lot better.
What did you do to achieve your results? Changed my eating habits, changed my diet to sensible healthy options (fruit and vege), no soft drinks of any kind, and included at least 30mins of exercise/movement activity a day, (swimming, bike riding or walk/running), and two Personal Training sessions a week.
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made? Diet and exercise. I eat healthy six days and week and allow one day to treat myself (usually one day on the weekend). Exercise everyday.
Fave healthy food: Salads – Greek with olives or Pumpkin and fetta!!
Fave treat food: Oreo McFlurry
Fave exercise: Swimming and Cycling. I love both!!
Most “Dreaded” exercise: Running and skipping
Favourite Quote? “If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got! Change, it’s your life!”
Advice for others starting out… You have got to do this for yourself, if you are doing it for any other reason you will not stick at it. Once you decide to do it for you, Persist! Be Stubborn, Be selfish and don’t let anything stop you from reaching your goals.
