SARAH has been a quiet achiever… Working hard, staying consistent and shrinking before our eyes!! Since joining Bootcamp for Women at the end of 2013, by May 2014 Sarah had dropped a whopping 16kgs and is looking phenomenal!!! She’s a keen fan of the specific kettlebell sessions we run at Bootcamp and followed our Red E Running Training Program in the lead up to the Mackay Marina Run! Her results speak for themselves! Here’s Sarah’s story…
What motivated you to start training?
I started training when I realised I couldn’t run up a set of stairs without being puffed. This really concerned me as I was only 25. This is what motivated me.
What were/ are your goals?
I would like to run a 13km race and I’m working towards being a fitness model!
What have you been doing to achieve your goals?
I’ve been more strict with my diet. I ensure that I am active every day even if it is just half an hour walk. Setting numerous goals for myself such as being able to run 8km which I have now achieved!
What have your results been?
I have lost 16kg and I have gone from a size 14 to a size 8-10!
What did you to do achieve your goals?
To stay motivated I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the team from Red E, the team atmosphere that is created at each bootcamp is what gets me out of bed 4.30am in the morning.
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made?
My diet, drinking lots of water and remaining active.
Favourite ‘clean’ food? Chicken, Quiona
Favourite ‘not-so-clean’ food? Chocolate!
Favourite form of training?
Strength training with weights, kettlebells and boxing!
Least favourite exercise?
It was running… But I am slowly learning to enjoy it!! 🙂
