Ashley has been a superstar to train, and has earned our June “Client of the Month” Award!! He is always full of energy and is so keen to learn by asking lots of questions and then takes in every bit of information his trainers give to him. He has changed his body composition dramatically, and dropped 11kgs in the process! Ashley, along with his beautiful wife Alex, have embraced their new lifestyle and are setting a great example for their two year old son Cooper. We love having you both here! Congratulations on all you’ve achieved!! Here’s Ashley’s story…
What motivated you to start training? I have my lovely wife to thank for the motivation, she started on the 12 week package and told me how much she enjoyed it. She was trying to get me to go and I was resistant at first but I then had to do a coal board medical and found that my fitness had dropped off over the last 5 years. So I signed up with Red E, which is one of the best decisions I have made.
What were / are your goals? Goal – I now fit into a shirt that was my first target. I have also lost over 10kg but changed the entire shape of my body. Future goals are to continue to lose body fat and to gain more strength and muscle mass. The quality of the staff at Red E has encouraged me to do my Cert III and IV in Fitness to become a trainer myself so I can have a positive impact on the lives of others, as the team at Red E have for my wife and I!
What have you been doing to achieve your goals? To reach my current goals I have had to put in 100% every time I attend a session and listen to my trainers. I have also changed many of my life style habits at home and work, as I am a shift-worker. I am now eating better and more regularly.
What have your results been? Our whole household is now eating healthier and exercising regularly which is great! It will set a great example for our son. Being healthy is great. I am turning 30 at the end of the year and I feel like I am getting the best body I have ever had. I wish I had of started years ago but it is never too late to start! I started at 101kgs and I am now 90kgs so I have dropped over 10kgs! I am looking forward to changing my body shape and muscle mass further!
Favourite ‘clean’ food? My wife’s home made (with love) spiced pumpkin granola bars!
Favourite ‘not-so-clean’ food? Eastern Port Yum Cha!
Favourite form of training? Hard and to failure
Least favourite exercise? That’s hard as I don’t really have one, but if I had to pick one I guess I would go with burpees!
