Before After At The Red E Awards Evening!
I had been training with Red E Personal Training doing their Mirani Bootcamp for Women. I was motivated to enter Red E’s “Little Black Dress” 12 Week Challenge as I felt fat, unhappy and annoyed and frustrated with my inability to lose weight. My clothes were tight and I needed to change it. The challenge was just what I needed to motivate and give me the kick in the pants to make a positive change.
My goals were to lose 10kgs, gain and see muscle definition and tone, to eat healthy and regular meals and to put my health before housework so I can be a happier and healthier person/mother/wife/friend.
To achieve my goals I knew everything had to change. Exercise became my priority – I tried to do at least 30 minutes a day. I did the Mirani Bootcamp for Women twice per week for an hour and I pushed myself to get as much exercise as possible on the weekends.
I needed to make huge changes to my diet starting with making myself eat regular meals. I attended Red E’s Nutrition Information Sessions to learn as much as I could. The first three weeks were challenging, but after that I didn’t want to eat the rubbish I used to. Healthy food is yummy!
At the end of the 12 weeks, I was so happy and proud of my results! I lost 10 kilograms (got my goal!) and 12.3cm off my belly button measurement! My muscle definition has improved and I’m feeling so much happier, healthier and a lot fitter! I took almost one minute off my 1km run time which is awesome!! I was so happy to have won a major prize at Red E’s Presentation Party for the 12 Week Challenges!
The Challenge may have ended, but my journey will not end! Healthy eating and daily exercise is here to stay! I’m not going back to the old me. No way! I’m loving the new me, this is a change for LIFE!!
