Helen Ringuet is one our long term clients who started One-on-One Personal Training with us in 2012. She then joined in our Bootcamp for Women Program and in between travelling always comes back to training to continue improving her fitness and keeping her body strong. She has achieved some really amazing results including improving strength in her ‘bad’ shoulder and gaining more movement, as well as being able to comfortably run to the first shelter on the bridge at Bootcamp! Helen currently does Bootcamp three times each week, and two Personal Training sessions and her effort and motivation, always with a smile, is something we all find inspiring. Awesome work Helen, you are a Super Star!!!
What was your motivation to start training with us here at Red E?
The reason I stated with Red E was because although I had been to other gyms due to having osteoporosis and needing to do weight bearing exercises never felt really happy, I just felt like a number.
What were your goals?
My goals were to keep my muscles strong and keep flexible and a stable balance to prevent falls as I am at an age where this is necessary. (Helen is 68 years old this year!)
How have you gone with your goals? What achievements have you made? What benefits do you feel?
I feel that I have maintained flexibility and balance and have more energy. Even though I dislike running I have improved and can do push ups on my toes which I could not do before I started.
The benefits I feel from training has been feeling fitter and enjoying the company of the other ladies, I would not exercise enough by myself. I have also lost a few centimetres which is an added bonus.
What did you do to achieve your results?
I feel I have achieved my results by training five days a week and rarely miss a session.
What permanent lifestyle changes have you made?
My lifestyle changes have trying to eat clean 80 percent of the time and when I go off track start again the next day.

Chocolate!
