- 200-300g Heart Smart Fillet
- 1 cup Almonds
- 1tbl Garlic (crushed)
- ½ Cup Oats
- Sprinkle of Herbs
- 3 Eggs (whites only)
- 1 cup of cooked brown rice
- 3 tbl light soy sauce
Place meat on baking paper and coat with garlic & herbs. Allow to marinate for an hour.
Preheat oven to 180°C
Blend together the almonds and oats until a fine grain like consistency.
Place egg whites in a bowl and completely coat the steak, then dip into almond and oat crumb mixture until completely covered in crumbs.
Place back on the baking tray and bake in the oven for 10 minutes, turning every few minutes. Meat should be a light brown colour.
Serve on a bed of hot brown rice with soy sauce mixed through.
