What motivated you to start training? I got to a point where my clothes didn’t fit me and I even tried to buy new ones instead, that didn’t even work. I was in denial and just kept eating. I was the biggest I had ever been. A friend saw the advertisement for boot camp and asked me to do it with her. It was the push and support I needed.
What exercise and lifestyle changes have you made? Since starting bootcamp 4 months ago, I started doing all sorts of diets and in the end, all I needed to do was eat healthy and think about things before I ate them. I eat lots of good fats, lean meat, fruit and salads. I now plan my weekends around exercise and what meals I’m going to make. I work my life around exercise…if something social comes up it has to be after bootcamp. A whole block of chocolate to myself after dinner is thing of the past. I started with daily back pain and now I only get it a few times a month.
What have your results been? All my clothes are all hanging off me, I never was a belt girl but now I can’t wear pants without one. When I started I needed to go to a size 16, I couldn’t zip up size 14 pants. I’m now in a comfortable 12.
If asked by a friend, what would you tell them about Red E Personal Training and Bootcamp for Women? Its life changing, the trainers are fantastic, it’s fun and there’s always a mix of different things to keep you motivated. One standout thing would be the trainers don’t put you down for not being the first or the fastest. They praise you for your best not someone else’s.
