I was 110 plus kilos and thinking I was doing ok for a 38yo. Then I saw the photo of me behind my son’s rugby team and was shocked at what I saw. It was time for a change or I wouldn’t be around with the kids too long.
My goals originally were just to lose weight and be able to keep up with Jacob (my boy) and keep coaching his team, however six months on I have registered to play one last season of rugby and find training easier on the park than it was 7 years ago (last time I played!). I have dropped 17 kilos and am enjoying the new energy, even going to join Mackay Roadrunners.
I have been doing two sessions a week plus at least one of the cardio sessions a week. At my initial consult I was sceptical about what could be achieved in 30 minutes. After that session I was convinced. (Thanks Tegan!).
I am still training twice a week with Red E as well as my other training. I have now changed my habits to include a healthy diet, reduced alcohol consumption and no more Ice Breaks! A big thanks to Chris, Tegan, Selina, and the girls of Red E for their continued support in helping me to achieve my goals!!
